Ms. Roja Kiran Basukala\, WIIT\, Executive Member highlighted major accomplishments of the organization in the fiscal year 2081/82. Ms. Anjana Lohani\, Treasurer of the organization presented a financial report\, and the assembly endorsed the audit report with commitment to continue financial contributions in future. Ms. Reva Rajbhandary\, WIIT Executive member facilitated a session for collecting insights from the participants for driving the organization more strategically. Ms. Sheela Kansakar Karkee\, WIIT Vice Chairperson concluded AGM thanking all the members for their continued support. SUMMARY:CyberSafe: Cybersecurity and Privacy Essentials for School Girls and Teachers
DESCRIPTION:The CyberSafe: Cybersecurity and Privacy Essentials for School Girls and Teachers program was successfully conducted from 5-6 September 2025 at Shree Janajyoti Secondary School\, Phosretar\, Sindhuli\, Nepal. The initiative of this program was to strengthen digital literacy with focus on cybersecurity awareness. The program catered separate activities for school girls and teachers equipping them with knowledge to navigate the digital world with safety and one’s responsibilities. \nThe two- day program had the participation of 40 students from grade 11 and 12 and 14 teachers from all faculties from four public schools of Sindhuli (Shree Janajyoti Secondary School\, Shree Gaumati Secondary School\, Shree Barundevi Secondary School\, Shree Siddhababa Secondary School). The program also organized a session for the parents regarding cybersecurity awareness and safe practices. The program included interactive sessions of Capture the Flag (CTF) competition and hackathon- teamwork presentations for students and dedicated training sessions for educators. The event concluded with 6 team presentations from students\, award distribution for CTF and hackathon winners\, and also included closing remarks from School\, municipality\, APT\, and WIIT.

DESCRIPTION:A workshop on “Digital Payment and Cyber Security” was held for the women of Lalitpur Women Chamber. The program was organized by the Lalitpur Women Chamber with co-organizer Lalitpur Metropolitan and WIIT as technical partner. The event was graced with presence of Deputy Mayor Ms.  Manjali Shakya Bajracharya\, and Founder President of Lalitpur Chamber was also present in the event.  President of Lalitpur Women Chamber Ms. Sunita Bajracharya welcomed all the participants. There were business women and home makers\, and few men participants. Sessions went very well with active participation from the participants. Sessions like “Digital Skill for day-to-day life”\, “Digital Payment and securities”\, and “How to be secured using Internet” were discussed. Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan\, WIIT General Secretary Ms. Ratna Tara Tuladhar Baidya and WIIT Executive Member Ms. Roja Kiran Basukala presented their presentations on related topics accordingly.

DESCRIPTION:WIIT held a One day training on “Digital Skill for day to day life and Digital Payment” for Majipat Lakhenani Misha Pucha\,  in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward no. 20 office\, held at ward no. 20 KMC office. Chief of wada  was present for the commencement of the program and he showed interest for such trainings for more and more women in that area. Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan took the session on Digital Skill for day to day life\, similarly General Secretary of WIIT Ms. Ratna Tara Tuladhar Baidya shared knowledge on\,’ what is Digital Payment\, how digital payment and online shopping work’  and WIIT Executive Member Ms. Roja Kiran Basukala made the participants aware of the security measures to be taken care of while using Internet and how to be secure while using digital skills and digital payment. There were 25 women participants in the event.

DESCRIPTION:WIIT held a ‘Talk Program on Role of Science and Technology in Career Development ‘ for the girls students of three different schools. Initially\, students who were not interested to learn ICT\, but after the sessions\, they were showing their interest in learning more and more science and technology. So\, such motivational sessions need to be carried on with the girls during their schooling. Ms Shova Sedhai and Ms. Chrisha Shrestha presented their presentation on the topic with good examples. General Secretary of WIIT Ms. Ratna Tara Tuladhar Baidya was preset in the event for motivating the students. Principal of the school thanked and requested for more such trainings for the students not only girls but to boys too.

SUMMARY:Workshop / Contest on Robotics for School Children
DESCRIPTION:WIIT held “Workshop / Contest on Robotics” for School Children in Mahendra Bhawan Higher Secondary Boarding School\, Naxal. Training was held with support of Mahendra Bhwan School\, Ex students of Batch 32 of Mahendra Bhawan School\, and Robotics Association Nepal (RAN). Experts from Robotics Association Nepal (RAN) were present to teach the students importance of robotics today\, how robotics can be made. \nGirls and boys students of class 7 and 8 were present. There were 30 participant students.  Students were given tools for making robots\, and they were kept in a group of 5 to 6 students both boys and girls\, and they were so excited\, and learned well\, and within two days\, they were able to make moving car. WIIT team and the organizing team\, and school were excited watching the  progress shown by the students.

DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur\, association with WIIT and BugV as technical partner held Cyber Security Hackathon for Girls students of Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School\, Khokana. The event was possible with the collaboration of Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur\, BugV and Kumari Bank.  BugV team held the hackathon. The program was initiated with the help of President of Rotary Club of Mount Everest\, Lalitpur Ms. Pratima Pradhan. Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan presented the importance of ICT today\, and why we need to know about Cyber security and WIIT Executive Member Ms.  Roja Kiran Basukala entertained the students with a Quiz contest on Cyber Security. Girls were so interested and there was active participation of girls in this Hackathon. Winner of the Hachathon were awarded.
