SUMMARY:Digital Skill for day-to-day life and Digital Payment
DESCRIPTION:WIIT held a One day training on “Digital Skill for day to day life and Digital Payment” for Majipat Lakhenani Misha Pucha\,  in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward no. 20 office\, held at ward no. 20 KMC office. Chief of wada  was present for the commencement of the program and he showed interest for such trainings for more and more women in that area. Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan took the session on Digital Skill for day to day life\, similarly General Secretary of WIIT Ms. Ratna Tara Tuladhar Baidya shared knowledge on\,’ what is Digital Payment\, how digital payment and online shopping work’  and WIIT Executive Member Ms. Roja Kiran Basukala made the participants aware of the security measures to be taken care of while using Internet and how to be secure while using digital skills and digital payment. There were 25 women participants in the event.

SUMMARY:Digital Literacy Training for the teachers
DESCRIPTION:Digital Literacy Training for the teachers of Balmiki Adharbhut School\, a community school in Nagarkot They were 90 percent lady teachers. Some of them had little knowledge on digital payments\, but learning in detail on Digital Payment\, Digital skill for life and Cyber Security. The training was a good opportunity for them as per Principal of the school who was one of the participants. Training was held by Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan\, Vice Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Sheela Kansaakar Karkee and WIIT General Secretary  Ms. Ratna Tara Tuladhar Baidya. Ms. Reeya Sthapit was present as a volunteer.

DESCRIPTION:Three days’ workshop training was held focusing on need of Digital skill for day to day life\, Digital payment\, Security measures to be taken care of\, and Cyber Security. Participants were so  excited to learn\, and had a very active participation during the workshop. The program was held in the NAN hall\, Lazimpat. President  of NAN welcomed all the trainers and participants in the training. Sessions on Digital Skills for life was held by Chairperson of WIIT Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan\, similarly\, others sessions were taken by WIIT Vice Chairperson Ms. Sheela Kansakar Karkee\, WIIT General Secretary Ms. Ratna Tara Tulahar Baidya\, WIIT Executive Member Ms. Palpasa Tuladhar\, WIIT Members Ms. Sovha Sedhai\, Ms. Mona Nyachhon with MonalTech team\, Ms. Chrisha Shrestha\, Ms. Kasturi Raj\, and Ms. Sampanna Shrestha\, Ms. Suman KC from Nepal Telcom and team from NamastePay.

DESCRIPTION:WIIT Team successfully completed Presentation & Interaction Program on ” Digital Skills for life & AI basics with face recognition” which was held for the girls’ students of two different schools in Boudha – Kumari English Boarding School\, Boudha & Mahendra Boudha Madhyamik Vidyalaya\, Boudha 20+ students from each school Participated the program. The presentation focused on the importance of ICT and AI for their day-to-day life today. Students actively participated in the sessions. The presentation was given by WIIT member Ms. Samikshya Singh. Chairperson of WIIT\, Ms. Gunakeshari Pradhan was present to deliver her thanks to schools and students for giving WIIT an opportunity for this sessions.
